Jotform alternatives: six form builders and what each costs

Jotform Bronze is the baseline at $39 a month on monthly billing or $34 a month, billed annually, with 25 active forms, 1,000 submissions a month and one user, as read on October 13, 2026. Silver is $49 a month on monthly billing or $39 a month, billed annually, for 50 forms and 2,500 submissions; Gold is $129 a month on monthly billing or $99 a month, billed annually, for 100 forms and 10,000 submissions.

Jotform alternatives with more users or no form cap

Every self-serve Jotform plan is single-user, and active forms are capped at 5, 25, 50 and 100 from Starter to Gold. Over the submission limit, Jotform's help center says forms are disabled and show a "Form over quota" message. Warning: when total submission storage is full, Jotform deletes the oldest entry to make room for the new one.

Fillout has unlimited seats. Yay! Forms has unlimited forms and users on every plan. Typeform includes 3 users on Plus, $79 a month on monthly billing, and 5 on Business. Zoho Forms Standard allows 10 users and 25,000 submissions a month, at $30 a month on monthly billing or $25 billed annually (Zoho's price list).

Free Jotform alternatives

Jotform's own free Starter plan allows 5 forms and 100 submissions a month. Fillout and Zoho Forms allow more submissions on their free plans; Paperform and Typeform allow fewer.

• Fillout: 1,000 responses a month, with unlimited seats.
• Zoho Forms: 500 submissions a month, for 1 user and 3 forms.
• Paperform: 30 submissions a month.
• Typeform: 10 responses a month, per its help center.

Unlike Jotform, which has no trial, Yay! Forms offers 7 days to test it, though it has no free plan. Under its terms, canceling takes 15 days' notice and a refund can be requested within 7 days of the first payment.

For payments and HIPAA, stay close to Jotform

Jotform puts HIPAA features on Gold, $129 a month on monthly billing, and Yay! Forms' own Jotform page concedes native payment fields to Jotform. Formstack keeps HIPAA and compliance requirements as an add-on. Paperform states it is not HIPAA compliant today. Yay! Forms has neither native payment fields nor a HIPAA-eligible plan, per its AI info page, so it does not replace Jotform for payment or health forms.

Yay! Forms' Jotform page says its team rebuilds your Jotform forms within 24 hours at no cost; get that offer confirmed with support in writing.

Warning: once canceled, a Jotform paid plan stays active until the next billing date and then moves to Starter, which holds 5 active forms, so have the replacement forms live before that date.
