Yay! Forms plan prices on monthly and yearly billing
Yay! Forms costs $19, $39 or $79 a month on monthly billing, and $9, $29 or $59 a month when billed yearly, as read on 3 October 2026 on the vendor's own pricing page. The three plans are Starter, Plus and Professional. Every plan includes unlimited forms, questions, users and workspaces, so the price is set by one number: how many form submissions you receive in a month.
| Plan | Monthly billing | Yearly billing, per month | Submissions per month | Extra submissions add-on |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $19 | $9 | 200 | $9.50 per 100 |
| Plus | $39 | $29 | 2,000 | $19.50 per 1,000 |
| Professional | $79 | $59 | 20,000 | $39.50 per 10,000 |
By our arithmetic the yearly prices come to $108, $348 and $708 for twelve months. A custom domain such as forms.yourcompany.com is a separate $25 a month add-on shown on the Professional plan. The terms of use say sales tax may be added and that prices can change.
Is Yay! Forms free? The trial and the missing free plan
No. The pricing page lists no permanent free plan. What it offers is a 7-day free trial on each plan, after which you keep the account by paying or cancel. Yay! Forms' own comparison pages say the same thing in plain words: a 7-day trial, not a free tier.
One help article about changing plans mentions people who are on a trial or a free plan, but we found no free plan described or priced anywhere on the public pricing page, so do not plan around one. If a permanent free tier matters more than analysis features, Tally, which has a free plan, and Google Forms, which carries no separate price, are the obvious places to look, and our free or paid guide covers when paying is worth it.
What each plan adds beyond the submission limit
Starter already includes the analysis features: AI-powered insights, keyword extraction, sentiment and emotion detection, drop-off rates and customer support. The pricing page also lists logic jumps, multiple endings, file uploads, hidden fields, CSV export, API access, webhooks and all embed types under features that every plan includes.
Plus and Professional add the same list of extras:
- Removal of the Yay! Forms badge from published forms
- A custom subdomain in the form yourcompany.yayforms.link
- Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Facebook Pixel integrations
- AI-written feedback emails sent to respondents
- Email, WhatsApp and Slack notifications, as named on those two plan cards
The page is inconsistent on that last item: its list of features in all plans also includes email, WhatsApp and Slack notifications, so confirm in the trial whether Starter has them. The only differences between Plus and Professional on the pricing page are the submission allowance, the size of the overage block and the custom domain option. For the feature-by-feature view, see Yay! Forms features by plan.
A worked example: 350 responses a month
Take a small service business that expects about 350 survey responses a month. Starter covers 200. The help center says a form that reaches the plan limit stops accepting responses until the next cycle unless you upgrade or switch on the additional responses add-on, which then bills the extra responses automatically.
| Option | Monthly billing | Yearly billing, per month |
|---|---|---|
| Starter plus two 100-response blocks | $19 + $19 = $38 | $9 + $19 = $28 |
| Plus, no add-on needed | $39 | $29 |
This assumes the add-on is charged in whole blocks of 100. The pricing page gives the block price but does not say whether a part-used block is prorated. Either way the answer is the same: at 350 responses, Plus costs $1 more than Starter with overage and gives you 1,650 responses of headroom plus the Plus features. Starter only wins if you reliably stay near 200. Our cost per response guide shows how to run this sum for your own volume.
Cancellation, refunds and the 15-day notice clause
The pricing page FAQ says you can cancel your account without contacting the company: log in, click your name at the top of the page and choose Security. The help center describes a billing portal, opened from Manage Subscription, where you can switch plan, update the card or cancel.
The terms of use are stricter than those pages suggest. They say you cancel a subscription by contacting the company, and that a cancellation needs at least 15 days' notice before the next billing cycle, or it applies to the following term. They also say you may request a refund within 7 days of your first payment by emailing help@yayforms.com. Recurring charges continue until you cancel. If you are trialing the product, set a reminder before day seven and, on a paid plan, cancel well ahead of the renewal date.
Which Yay! Forms plan fits which buyer
- Starter suits a pilot or a low-volume feedback form under 200 responses a month where the badge on the form does not matter.
- Plus suits most small organizations: 2,000 responses, your own subdomain, no badge, and tracking integrations.
- Professional suits high-volume lead capture or an agency that needs up to 20,000 responses and a custom domain.
If you need payment fields, HIPAA terms or a permanent free plan, Yay! Forms is the wrong purchase and a different tool will serve you better.
