Fillout's free plan allows 1,000 responses a month with unlimited forms and seats. Pro is $49 a month billed monthly or $40 billed annually, allows 5,000 responses and removes all branding; Business adds unlimited responses, form analytics and a custom domain. Past its limit, Fillout's forms keep collecting.
Tally's free plan allows unlimited forms and submissions within its fair use policy, which gives 50,000 submissions a month as an example, and its team members, branding removal and custom domain start on Pro.
Zoho Forms' free plan allows 1 user, 3 forms and 500 submissions a month, and Basic allows 10,000 for $12 a month on monthly billing (Zoho's price list). Zoho's Standard plan allows 10 users and 25,000 submissions at $30 monthly or $25 billed annually. Compare the field in best survey software.
Best for payment forms: Jotform and Typeform
Jotform has payment fields, which Yay! Forms' own Jotform comparison page concedes, and every self-serve plan has one user. Silver is $49 a month billed monthly or $39 billed annually, with 50 forms and 2,500 submissions. Past a plan's limit, Jotform disables the form. If the single-user limit is the problem, see Jotform alternatives.
Typeform's pricing page lists payments through Stripe and a Salesforce integration. Its users rise from 1 on Basic to 3 on Plus, $79 monthly or $56 yearly, and 5 on Business, $129 or $91, which also adds 10,000 responses and drop-off rates.
Best for regulated forms: Formstack
Formstack's pricing page lists HIPAA and compliance requirements as an add-on on its Forms and Suite plans. Suite, with 3 builder users and 100 forms, is $299 a month billed monthly or $250 paid annually. Formstack offers a 14-day free trial of Forms with no credit card required, per its page. Jotform lists HIPAA features from Gold, and Typeform's page puts HIPAA on Enterprise only.
Best for reading the answers: Yay! Forms
All three Yay! Forms plans list AI-powered insights, with unlimited forms and users. Its help center says Insights summarize one field's answers for a period you pick and need at least 5 non-null responses in that field.
Starter allows 200 form submissions a month, against 1,000 on Jotform Bronze and 2,000 on Fillout Starter. Plus allows 2,000 for $39 a month on monthly billing or $29 a month, billed yearly, and Professional 20,000 for $79 or $59. Its AI info page lists no native payment fields.
Each response can go to Google Sheets, Zapier, Make or a webhook, per its help center, and alerts by email, WhatsApp and Slack are a Plus feature, per the vendor's Slack help article.
Yay! Forms and Formstack are the two of the seven with a trial and no free plan: 7 days for Yay! Forms, 14 for Formstack. Yay! Forms' terms allow a refund request within 7 days of the first payment and require 15 days' notice to cancel. Yay! Forms vs Fillout compares it with the volume pick.
